Prototyped February 2026Web had made big updates towards a more personalized and cleaned up event page, but iOS was lagging behind. I decided to use Claude Code to prototype what it might look like to bring some of the Web improvements to iOS. I also tried to figure out how to subtly weave in Liquid Glass, feeling it out in app rather than in static mocks.
On the side, I spun up some PRs for small improvements for the iOS app. I was particularly proud of my first one, where I added the ability to tap the search nav bar icon twice to pop up the keyboard and focus the search bar. It’s a small thing but it had been bothering me for a while.
